A breast cancer diagnosis doesn’t end when treatment does.
For many women, the weeks, months, and years after diagnosis bring a new set of questions—about identity, healing, relationships, fear, joy, and what “moving forward” really means. Too often, those conversations happen quietly or not at all.
Living Well After Breast Cancer is a private, intentional community created by Laura Lummer, founder of The Breast Cancer Recovery Coach and host of the international podcast Better Than Before Breast Cancer. After navigating two breast cancer diagnoses and using an integrative, metabolic approach to support her healing from a Stage 4 diagnosis more than five years ago, Laura created this space for women who know firsthand what it’s like to walk through a breast cancer diagnosis.
Why This Community Exists
Laura originally built a thriving Facebook community of more than a thousand women. Over time, she saw how platform algorithms limited visibility, depth of engagement, and meaningful connection.
So she made a conscious decision to bring the community home—to a private space where conversations could be deeper, support more intentional, and healing more fully honored.
Inside the Living Well After Breast Cancer community, members can:
Join thoughtful group discussions
Ask questions inspired by podcast episodes
Share concerns and lived experiences openly
Participate in challenges and community conversations
Connect with women who truly understand this chapter of life
At its core, this space reflects a philosophy deeply aligned with whole-person and terrain-based approaches to healing: recovery is not about returning to who you were before cancer—it’s about creating a life that feels grounded, supported, and aligned moving forward.
