[Tucson, AZ — November 17, 2025] — The Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health (MTIH) is proud to announce the appointment of Lynn Hughes as its new Executive Director, effective immediately.
Lynn has been part of MTIH since 2022, most recently serving as Director of Development, where she helped strengthen partnerships, donor engagement, and community outreach. With a career spanning more than two decades in nonprofit leadership and public relations, Lynn brings a deep commitment to purpose-driven work and a lifelong passion for creating positive change for both people and the planet.
Before joining MTIH, Hughes held executive roles with organizations including the Terre Haute Children’s Museum, Hamilton Center, Inc., and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, where she built sustainable programs, expanded donor networks, and led major community initiatives. She also hosted The Haute, a video series dedicated to promoting civic pride and economic development in Terre Haute, Indiana.
“Lynn embodies the kind of leadership that inspires collaboration, innovation, and action,” said Bob Jones, Board of Directors of the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health. “Her nonprofit expertise and heartfelt commitment to impact perfectly align with our mission to transform how health and healing are understood.”
“Lynn has an extraordinary ability to connect vision to action,” added Jennifer Payeur, MTIH Chairperson. “She’s not just a leader — she’s a catalyst for change who empowers others to think bigger and do better for humanity and the planet.”
In her new role, Hughes will guide MTIH’s next phase of growth — expanding patient grant programs, and deepening the organization’s engagement with its global community of clinicians, scientists, and advocates for metabolic health.
“I’m honored to step into this role at such a pivotal time,” said Hughes. “MTIH’s mission resonates deeply with my personal values — collaboration, compassion, and courage to change the way we approach wellness. I’m eager to work alongside our team and community to expand the reach of this transformative movement.”
